Racial Justice
America must grapple with the fact that our country was built on white supremacy. If we are going to dismantle systemic racism, we can’t just rely on universal social programs. We must desegregate our schools and neighborhoods, end our environmental racism, and pass redistributive policies that give wealth, resources, and autonomy to people of color.
Our Vision & Core Policies
Fully Desegregate our Communities
Increase federal funding for efforts to desegregate schools
Ensure equitable and culturally competent education
Stop the practice of redlining once and for all
Close the Racial Wealth Gap
Reparations for slavery
Reparations for the genocide of Indigenous peoples
End Environmental Racism
End environmental racism and hold corporations accountable for polluting communities of color
Prioritize majority-Black and Brown neighborhoods who bear the brunt of corporate pollution in our environmental clean-up efforts
Address Racist Health Disparities
Close the Black maternal health outcome disparity
Address health infrastructure gaps that disproportionately hurt POC by switching to a global funding model based on need
Invest in People of Color
Increase representation of people of color in education, government, and leadership positions
Fund federal agencies so that they can enforce anti-discrimination laws in housing, education, finance, employment, and health institutions.
